  1. How much does FMS cost?
    The cost of the software varies based on the number of usage and features purchased. However, it is priced aggressively and provides an unbeatable value. Please call us for a custom quote.
  2. How long does it take to get up and running?
    If all of your data is prepared and ready to load into the system, you could be operational in days with the basic functions of the system. We are available to help make the transition as smooth as possible.
  3. Do you have accounting features?
    No. FMS is designed to work independently of accounting system and accounting processes. We do however, capture a significant amount of information that is used to do billing, payroll and inventory. By not including accounting features directly in FMS, we provide our customers with the flexibility of choosing the accounting system that suits them best.
  4. I noticed that you have PDA's, which ones do you support?
    The list of PDA's available these days is continually increasing. We do have a preference for the Treo's, which we believe are fast, reasonably durable, have excellent battery life and the perfect form factor. They also happen to be one of the very few PDA's that are offered by all of the major cell phone carriers. We think that you'd like this phone/pda whether or not you were running FMS on it.
  5. Is FMS stable? Is it good enough to run my service operation?
    Absolutely! FMS is not new. The core components have been installed an working for almost 8 years. Our largest customer has a very large team of field technicians all over the U.S. using FMS to handle their payroll, billing and job costing.
  6. We want something simple. Is FMS better suited to large organizations?
    Not necessarily. FMS is suited for "service" organizations of almost any size. If you have 5 technicans or 50, FMS will be a good fit because it will simplify and organize your service operation, reduce paper work and allow information to flow smoothly to the person who needs it. Smaller organizations need FMS just as much as any larger organization.
